About PT’s Grille

Wilmington’s Best Burger

If you have lived in Wilmington for more than a year, you know the name PTs Grille. And if you do not, well, welcome to local-dom. PTs began serving our community with the simple concept of selling really good burgers, sandwiches, dogs and fries (oh and you dieters can rest assured to find a few salads on their menu too). With the first location opening on Fountain Drive, across from UNCW campus. A blossoming, high-quality, fast-service restaurant turned into major success. Fifteen years has gone by, and PTs has turned into a franchise with five area locations, satisfying many Wilmingtonians cravings for the best burger in town. Grilled to perfection and served in four or eight ounce sizes, customers top it how they choose, yet it always tastes the same: delish!

Chapel Hill’s Best Burger

UNC students voted PT’s Grille the “Best Burger” in the Daily Tarheel’s Carolina’s Finest Awards.

Fresh, High-Quality Ingredients

When you want a freshly grilled burger or chicken sandwich, forget the fast-food mills. Consistently voted Best Burger by Encore magazine’s annual poll, P.T.’s can’t be beat. Every menu item is a package deal that includes a sandwich (whopping half-pound Angus beef burgers, tender chicken breast, hot dogs, fresh roast beef, turkey and more), fresh-cut, spiced, skin-on French fries (or substitute a side salad) and a soft drink, refill included. Prices are low, and quality is high. You place your order by filling in an idiot-proof order form and dropping it through the window if you’re eating on the outdoor deck. Order at the counter if you’re eating inside. Your meal is prepared to order and ready in about 10 minutes — fast food that doesn’t taste like fast food. P.T.’s also offers an alternative to beef with the lower calorie, low-fat Gardenburger. P.T.’s is west of S.
